Metro Detroit Roofing made repairs to an asphalt shingled roof on a residential home I have responsibility for. The 16 year old asphalt shingled roof is a very steep gable design. The scope of work included replacing 2 vent pipe boots, several missing singles and new flashing with shingles around 4 sides of a brick chimney. My original contact with the company was with Larry on the phone. He did an excellent job explaining the way they do business and what to expect. The workman Dan arrived as scheduled and immediately inspected (walked) the roof. He prepared a detailed written proposal on site and provided a company information packet. The packet contained all the important information I needed to make a well informed decision. The price Dan provided was fair for the amount of work to be completed and included the 5 year guarantee. I authorized the work with my signature on the proposal. Dan was very meticulous about his work which included a very clean and detailed calking job around the new flashing on the chimney. He demonstrated great concern for all the debris including the very last nail for removal from the property. There was a tree branch over hanging the roof near one of the vent pipes and Dan removed this without any additional charge. He completed the work in approximately 5 hours on a very hot 90 F sunny day. We have experienced several days of very heavy downpours since the work was completed and there have been no problems! This was a very good experience and I would use this team for work on my own home.
