JS Construction Consulting (JSCC) was listed as a preferred contractor by our insurance company, United Services Automobile Association (USAA). Our problem was a whole roof replacement due to hail, exterior siding replacement, interior ceiling and wall water damage due to a roof leak and converting a problem flat roof to a sloped roof to avoid future damage. JSCC met our needs completely, serving as the general contractor arranging and managing the various sub-contractors and trades. They analyzed the insurance adjuster’s report and worked with him to correct many inaccuracies, such as the grade of shingle being replaced, and the effect of local code changes on the repair, to enhance our coverage of the repair. Knowing the insurance company, they were able to submit supplemental claims in the company’s format for us as they discovered issues while working. This facilitated communication between us and the insurance company. JSCC’s management is excellent at communication, in clarity of plan-of-action, cost estimating, and in notification of when repairs would be made. We always had at least 24 hours’ notice and the crews always showed up. When crews were working, there was always at least one of them we could talk to if the need arose. JSCC can provide a full array of skills necessary to complete any home repair. We are extremely pleased with their work and plan to use them in the future.
