Fantastic work! I have a two-tier flat roof home in west-Wilmette. With the weather we’ve had these last few years, I decided that I wanted a commercial roof installed for durability and peace of mind. I could not be happier with the service, workmanship, and timeliness of the job. Steve is meticulous, his team is courteous, and everything was done according to plan—he even upgraded my roofing membrane to white, at no cost to me. Due to scheduling and weather, there was a 48 hour period where I’d be without gutters. As it would happen we saw heavy rain and I discovered water building-up near my basement pit. I texted Steve to let him know. He said he wanted to take a look, IMMEDIATELY drove over, and proceeded to build a temporary (and ingenious) water-channel over my deck to move the run-off away from the trouble-spot. Oh, and all of this was on a SUNDAY! Even though I told him that I’d dropped a submersible pump to keep the water moving out, and that he didn’t need to come by, he insisted. This above-and-beyond service was totally unexpected. I will continue to recommend him and his company because of it. My home is now more energy efficient, my new roof looks great, and the gutter installer that Steve used did a better job than I imagined going into the project. Thank you Steve and Shoreland Roofing. (It is worth noting that Steve is a home builder by trade so I encourage you to pick his brain for ideas & suggestions regarding other parts of your home/garage/yard as well. He has decades of insight and experience, personal contacts to share, and was always thorough when answering my questions—even when I needed multiple explanations.)
