Jesse Cook review about company Calcott Roofing & Siding

I read a review about Calcott Roofing and Siding that stated they were low pressure. I would agree. However, I think that is really a symptom (albeit positive) of their unresponsive and slow nature. They are incredibly sluggish when it comes to responding to questions, concerns, finishing the job, and pretty much everything else. In fact, they were even slow to submit a bill for service. At least they're consistent. They did a fair job on the roof. I didn't have to wait too long for them to get started. That was pretty much the only thing they were quick to do (i.e. get started). The ripped off and replaced most of the shingles in the first day. However, it took quite a while to get them back to the house to finish the shingles. They failed to put the ridge vents in, and I had to contact them repeatedly to get them to come back. They had to take the gutters off to do some repairs, and those were off for even longer. They also replaced several of the window wraps on my house. That took a really long time to get started on the windows, and then they did a terrible job on the caulk. They left stains and marks all over my white aluminum siding where they were working, and the caulk did not form a proper seal. I finally managed to get them to come back to fix the caulk after calling them every week or so, and they didn't do a good job fixing the problem. To give you an idea of the time frame, they started in mid July and finally "finished" the last thing mid September. Overall, they were rather courteous, they were careful not to damage anything (e.g. plants) around the house, and they did a fair job with the shingles. However, they took forever, and they did a terrible job on the windows. Because of this, I cannot recommend them. However, I will say that I did interview three other companies and this is the one I selected.
