Michael C review about company Ja-Mar Roofing & Sheet Metal - Buda

Did the job, but virtually robbed. The job: garage apartment roof with small leak showing on the ceiling after a heavy rain. About 500 sq.ft. Called Ja-Mar; two men arrived in Jan, 2019. Went on roof; said the roof needed maintenance typical of older style metal roofs - tighten bolts, caulk ones that were stripped. They described extent of the work and it sounded like several hours. Quoted $600. I agreed. 45 minutes later, knocked on front door, asked for the $600. Total time at my home: about 1:15. Yes, they did the work and it has not leaked again, earning 3 stars. But mislead me on size of job, egregiously overcharging me. Use this company if you have an extra $350 to $400 to throw away. I will not use them again. A TX Legislature member is introducing a bill to regulate roofing industry - as he says, "it is the Wild West out there". This is EXACTLY the kind of situation that should be targeted!
