Brian Dundee review about company Daech & Bauer Roofing

Earlier this year, my subdivision was hit by hail. Although 7 other homes nearby have had full roof replacement from this storm, my insurance company adjuster only allowed for patching and a partial replacement. I saw Daech & Bauer's sign and called. I explained the situation with my insurance and asked Jeramie for a bid for a full replacement. He assured me he could work with the insurance and get a better settlement as there was more damage than what they allowed for. After receiving other bids, they were the lowest. After many attempts to contact their rep Jeramie I gave up. Weeks later another person, William, from D&B showed up wanting to know if I needed any roof repairs. I informed him I had a bid from D&B but wasn't receiving any response from Jeramie. He said Jeramie had quit. No one notified us of this. After being assured that 9 out of ten times, he could get a better settlement from insurance, we eventually agreed to sign a contract with D&B. William looked over the bid given to us by Jeramie and told us it was measured wrong. He told us it would be an additional $1,100. This was still a little less than other bids so we signed and gave a check for half the cost with the rest due at completion. Within a couple days we received a call from William saying the estimate was still too low and our original bid of $6,500, that had climbed to $7,600, was now $11,000. This was substantially higher than bids from other companies. I asked for and received my check back. The insurance company still hasn't budged on their settlement claiming they didn't receive the additional proof requested from D&B meaning, 80% of the cost is still out of my pocket.
