I went through a tremendous number of vendors in choosing a company to replace the roof on my recently purchased Arts and Crafts home on Reynolds Mountain. After speaking with Ray Whitson, it became apparent that he was the person I wanted to deal with for my new roof. He owns his company and it has been in business for quite awhile. I made the assumption that the respectful and patient was he communicated to me, as well as the full body of knowledge displayed during our conversations would translate into the quality of his work. Not knowing anyone, I made that leap of faith. I was definitely correct in my conclusion. The work was impeccable. He kept me constantly informed about the status of the work and asked appropriate questions of me as needed. He knew I had Copper Gutters that I was concerned would not be damaged and, as he promised, they remained unscathed when the roof was completed. The work was done on time and the costs were the same at the end of the job as they were on his estimate. I could not have imagined a better overall experience regarding my roof replacement and would recommend him, and his company, to anyone needing that type of work. Ray has the ethics of his generation and that is what I want when working with a contractor.
