rpoberhausen review about company Stratton Home Improvement

Stratton had done some general roofing repairs for me over the years, shingle replacement etc. Always did a great job, charging fairly on the small repairs, prompt. We live in a high wind area an our roof was destroyed 1year ago in a wind storm, so we called Dan for a quote on a metal roof to replace the old one. Agreed on price, he helped work with insurance company, etc. All good? Not exactly. The scheduling and the pace of the installation was a nightmare. The subcontractors he hire to replace the gutters tore the old ones down in 3 hours the day of a rain storm. So, my house was flooded, major ceiling, paint and other damage. Stratton left a small tarp on the roof which allowed water into my attic. He verbally agreed to repair everything, and they did very little. I still have to repaint much of the upstairs ceilings. I won’t call them again. I will repaint it myself because they are unreliable. The reason for the 3 star rating is the roof looks great and is awesome. I’m sure they like to point it out. I could go on but...
