He might be a good roofer but he is impossible to get in touch with. He does not pick up his phone and never calls back. After leaving a few messages and hearing nothing, I arrived home today to find him already up on our roof caulking things -- without scheduling work, talking to me about options, asking me about any of it, or EVER having a single conversation with me at all. I'm not at all comfortable with that. I would strongly suggest in the most emphatic terms that you find another roofer for the job. At least one who calls you back and sets an appointment before showing up on your house and doing stuff to it.
