Karen Lafleur review about company Hickman Metal Roofing Inc

When the roof was initially installed in 2011 all was well. A screw rusted and the roof leaked after about two years. They promptly came out and fixed that. They never did fix the interior damage after saying they would return once they had the materials to replace the drywall and do the knock down on the ceiling where it stained. I wasn't too upset though because my husband fixed it but it should have been a flag as to their follow-through. Another screw is rusted now in 2017 and the roof is leaking again. It is ONE year outside of their five year workmanship warranty. My husband and I have probably called five times between the two of us since July 9th and the guy that I apparently need to talk to, Derek, is never there and won't return my call/messages. I guess no one there can assist with resolving this but him. I am fine waiting for someone to come out - I understand sometimes things can't be immediate but at least a call back to set a date is not unreasonable. Buyer beware, the metal panels may have a 40 year warranty but their screws and workmanship don't and obviously don't hold up over time. When you need a repair - good luck getting a hold of them. I don't seem to be the only person having this problem. UPDATE 7/28: They did finally come out and fix the problem. Had to consistently call to follow-up though. Had we not made a temp fix we would be in big trouble due to all the rain.
