G M review about company Joey Wildasin Slate Roofing

Don’t let the positive reviews or the con man in Joey fool you. If I recall correctly he also told me that he put some positive reviews online (Note that two of the positive reviews have the same last name) to help build his business so don’t trust what you see out there. He will tell you stories about being a state wrestling champion to build your trust. He will tell you stories about how the prior roofers job quality is poor to convince you he is honest. He will tell you stories about being an “expert” witness for court cases to convince you of his qualifications. The bottom line is that he takes your money, cuts a ton of corners and then does net not stand behind his warranty or work product. I had to file a claim with his insurance company due to the poor work that he did. That is how I found out that his insurance had expired over a year prior. He has refused to fix the problems at my property even after a Better Business Bureau complaint to which he told the bureau that he would never step foot on my property again because I had made false accusations. Keep in mind that my experience could just be one of many poor experiences and that there are many good experiences. However it is my belief that this man gets away with what he’s getting away with because he knows that no one will ever go up on the roof and check his sloppy, inadequate, poor quality and shameful work. Be aware.
