After an extensive and exhaustive search for a roofing company, we have to say that Baker Roofing exceeded our expectations in replacing our roof. Our hearts were set on a metal roof. Van Melder, Residential Sales, detailed the pros and cons of replacing our shingle roof with metal due to mixing metals and the probability of compromising the existing stucco. We appreciated his frankness; he stood to make a lot more if he sold us the metal. There was a slight hick up with scheduling the project. However, Greg Lofink, the project manager, went to bat for us, realigned his schedule and completed the project on schedule. The team arrived at 7:30am and by 10:00 had completely stripped the existing roof. By 5:30pm, on one of the hottest days on record, the team cleaned up the site, blew off the decks, driveways and walkways and everything was in the dumpster. They returned the next day at 7:30am, again another record hot day, and were finished by 2:30 in the afternoon. The team was respectful, quiet and worked nonstop through the hot days. Safety was a big concern of ours. Baker made sure that the guys were protected with safety gear on top of our 3+ story house. Thank you Van and Greg for direction, concern for details, and organizing a great team to complete our roofing project.
