If we could give a negative star we would. It has taken 3 months, 3 attempts for the company to be able to order a correct door, 3 days lost that have had to be booked off work and even on the 3rd fitting day booked in, the trim was missing from the door and had to be added later. We were assured on the second and third attempts that the door would be checked that it 100% matched the order before booking a fitting day and yet we were only told on the day that it was incorrect!! The fitters we had no problems with and were unfortunately the ones who had to deal with the errors on the day, and Kerry in the office was put in awkward situations by the incompetence of the ordering staff, production team and what can only be called as an excuse of ‘management’. Due to all the problems we have had the manager told he would “sort out the price for us” because of the inconvenience. Low and behold when we contacted carera for an updated invoice, the manager didn’t even have the courtesy to get back to us and we received a dismissive mail from the sales department saying the price is for the fitting and they do not accept responsibility for the time taken. So much for customer service! Ironic considering we were told that they pride themselves on their customer service and satisfaction... what a joke. They clearly do not care that they have caused us grief and loss of earnings in the form of wasted holiday taken. We will never use this company again and strongly recommend that you think twice too. Pay a bit extra and get a professional company to do this.
