Lady M review about company Tarheel Builders

Dont use. Used savings to redo vinyl siding, doors, carport posts, windows, etc and Jerry, who identifies himself as a preacher, installed used doors with numerous old holes drilled in them instead of brand new doors as per contract and cost. Upon inspection on final day of work, I noticed this and brought it to his attention and he became furious. Told him he had the right one! I told him I would call LOWES to get me a quote to replace doors and he could deduct that price from his bottom line and remaining payment. I picked up the phone and stopped payment on a check for $$$$ which infuriated him. I told him he was a dishonest contractor and will be paid when all work is corrected. He later installed new doors. I trusted him and he lied. Retired Army officer and single lady!!
