I was looking for a quote for water found in my finished basement, something we found after moving recently. Carpet and trim was soaked, so we had this removed and drying just prior to our appointment with Chris W from Helitech. After an inspection, Chris found a small crack in the exterior foundation that we missed. We did a 'hose test' to see if water would find it's way in. We pulled off the drywall in that area so we would get a good look at where the water was coming in to confirm if this was the culprit. A trickle came through, so issue found! Hose test over. Chris was working up a quote upstairs when a gulley gusher rain storm blasted through. Chris walked back downstairs and saw the water gushing in. It was a crack on the outside, but the pressure from the heavy rain had water coming in so fast, especially with no carpet, pad, and drywall to soak it up like previously. Chris jumped into action and had us get the wet vac, moved furniture, and the rest of us grabbed towels to dam the area. I was so relieved that Chris was there, we were able to see the issue first hand, and now I know Helitech can do exactly what I need to fix this. Chris was AMAZING and truly went above and beyond. Even before this, he was so knowledgeable and thorough with options and solutions. And their work is guaranteed too!
