Brian P. review about company Gibson's Roofing Co

Mixed experience. The work was okay but getting an actual invoice for my tax records was like pulling teeth (and I still don't have it). Update: After nearly 4 months and multiple attempts to get Gibsons to send me an actual invoice, they finally sent one. During that time, they threatened to refer me to collections, told me I was being unreasonable, and told me that no one asks for anything other than a copy of the estimate/proposal. After I finally got the invoice and immediately made payment, I spoke to several other contractors I knew socially to get some feedback. They told me that a refusal to provide an invoice after completing a job was unusual, and trying to use an estimate/proposal as tax documentation was risky. I would give a solid 4 star for the actual work done, but their customer service and paperwork on the back-end was atrocious. Edit: Google quoted me out of context and made my review sound better than it was. I have altered that sentence.
