Michelle Brenkus review about company Restoration Doctor

Horrible Lying company! I dealt with Steve Klein who is a shareholder of the company and Roland Fleck. I signed a contract to handle my claim for my roof with State Farm. They ignored me from day one, I could barley get a hold of them to ever ask questions once that contract was signed. They would contacted my boyfriend because he is family through marriage with Steve. (But I signed the contract, it was my home) And they ignored me from the start. I would ask a question and they would call my boyfriend back. Ridiculous! even told them call me "Michelle" back, Michelle has questions, Michelle wants to talk about her contract and policy claim. But Nothing. Ridiculous! They came out and did inspections and a estimate that took forever to get sent in, that is all! Steve Klein then shoved us to deal with Roland Fleck, saying he was really sick and couldn't help us at the time. Roland would barley respond to me either. I sent emails and calls daily.No response to my questions! Just answer my questions I have a contract! So one day i constantly emailed and called just to get answers. I told them they didn't know how to do their job, and that I was doing it for them.( Because I was) Again they contacted my boyfriend not me. Later I finally got a response to actually me! They now no longer want to work for me and if I called again they were going to call the police on me for contacting them. WOW (So calling them about my contract made them upset and they were going to call the police) Ridiculous! They did nothing for me but messed up my claim. I took State Farm to court and they subpoena Steve Klein. So many lies were found out then. First lied to State Farm and told them they did a brittle test on my roof and it failed, to get State farm to do another inspection on my roof. Then so many other lies came pouring out during the process i couldn't begin name them all. DO NOT hire this company. They will tell lies just to get what they want. I believe they just want easy jobs that they do not have to do a lot of work for. They want it to just fall in their lap. I think that Steve Klein and Roland Fleck just don't have the knowledge or education to know how to handle a claim unless it goes very easy and smooth. And i believe that they do not like to be confronted cause they are afraid that the lies they tell will unfold.They will promise you so much, but did not deliver what they promised. I definitely found out I would have been better without them. Horrible horrible experience that i am still dealing with today a year and a half later. Hopefully Steve will learn after paying his lawyer so much and dealing with court that its not worth it to lie and try to scam people. And well Roland i believe it would take a whole lot of grinding to get that through to him. So if you are even thinking that this is a good company to hire. Think again please. I have no real professional experience with insurance companies, roofing, or restoration, I carry no license with any of them. but I would be a better choice them to hire them. I actually did their work and I got better results. P.S. I was told by Steve that they would be sending me a check for a referral but I never received it either!
