Marsha Ma review about company Westerner Products-Tucson Inc

I had a metal roof and gutter system installed over 20 years ago by Westerner Products which was very expensive at the time but I was assured that it would last forever with just minor repairs and maintenance. As a more knowledgeable homeowner, I later realized the workers had done shoddy work. Some of the screws were driven in crooked and bent, and the downspout ended above the concrete base of a wooden post of my carport. When I questioned the workers about the possible damage from the rain rushing out of the downspout onto the concrete. They laughed in ridicule and said that the house had been standing for 30 years, it would be fine. Well with the first monsoon the rain eroded the concrete. I had put an extension on the downspout to prevent further erosion. Now recently I have problems with the screws coming loose and the seams separating on the roof so I contacted Westerner Products since they had done the installation. I was told that they will not do any repairs on it because the current law stipulates that two years had to be guarantee with each repair and they won’t put themselves out on a limb on a PRODUCT they installed. I was told to call another company if I wanted it repaired. In addition, I was told by Westerner Products that it was an inferior product that should have never been put on a house, and the company would only give me an estimate on a brand new roof. Of course, after our “discussion”, the rep now states that the company will not be doing business with me. ANY REPUTABLE COMPANY WHO DOES GOOD WORK WOULDN’T BE AFRAID TO INSTALL THEIR QUALITY PRODUCT ON A JOB SITE. Of course, I wouldn’t want them around my property with a 10-ft pole anyway. My recommendation is if you wish to hire this company, you need to go up the roof at the time of installation and supervise. In my opinion, the workers are subpar and Westerner Products doesn’t stand by their product and their workmanship.
