Luke and Dave- what a team! We decided to have a Loft conversion done instead of moving we love our area and found that the cost of moving would was too great. We decided to add a master bedroom and en-suite as we were expecting our second child We shopped around a little but to be honest the speed and professionalism we received from Sky Lofts was exceptional. I think we met with Stuart to discuss what we would like around 4pm and we received a very detailed quote through the door the next day. (The final price did not vary much from this either so no hidden costs) only variance was additional fixings we added. We had a pre start meeting where we planned the finer details e.g. lighting and plug sockets. Which we met more of the team and the builders. The main question would be would we recommend sky lofts to a friend? And the answer would have to be yes without a doubt there were a few issues which were not related to the build or the final product but take that out of it and we couldn’t be any happy with the space with have gained. It has transformed our house and the way we live for the better. That being said the bit that we were most impressed with was the on-site team we had. I love the fact sky lofts dedicates the same builders to a project. We got to know Luke and Dave well over the time and they were always very good at getting our input and giving us advice/ feedback. It was great to see the pride that the pair put into there work which really showed as it all came together at the end. I could right an entire review based on these 2 guys alone they were simply awesome! I like to learn/ know what’s going on and the boys were only to happy to show me tell me what’s what which was probably a little annoying for them but they did it anyway. They were always aware of schedule and genuinely had our best interests at heart, anybody that has had building work done knows that usually the downside is having strangers in your house, this was not this case we actually looked forward to seeing them and were a little sad when the works finished and as my wife would say the “bromance”ended! If you are looking at having a loft conversion done then my advice would be that Sky lofts system (customer journey) they have from initial consultation to the actual build is sleek and very effective and above anything they have the right people in place to carry the job fantastic work ethic and genuinely nice people who are just as keen to see a fantastic loft as you are.
