Joanne Littell review about company H & O Roofing Inc

I have a 2 story building in which they were to to partial roof repair. I was told in writing the job was finished and I paid them in full in Jan 2015 (I am not a professional roofer, so I believed them). A year later, I failed my rental inspection since the roof was incomplete. I contacted the company by 2 phone numbers and by text. I am getting the run around from the owner Chad. Promises and vague dates of when it will be finished. I had several other roofing companies estimate how much it would cost to complete the job- $4,000! If they fail to meet their last promise (end of Sept), I feel the only recourse is to report them to the city, BBB and take them to small claims court to get my money back. I just hope if they do complete the job i paid them for, they do a good job. I want to believe that Chad will "make good on the job" as said when he finally texted me back. If he finished the job when he says he will and it passes inspection, i will update my review. --- update --- They didnt come by end of Sept. I started a breach of contract suit against them. A day later they come out, took off something from the roof (presumably to finish the job), apparently they put only felt on the roof and left at the end of the day. Huge rain storm came in late that night and through mid morning. Flooded both stories of my apartments and basement, ceilings are on the floors.... Now I have to take them to court for a lot more than $4k. It's a huge coincidence that they avoid me for 2 months, put me off, i start a suit against them, suddenly come out the day before a huge storm that was to hit and only cover my roof with felt.
