Sharon Perkins review about company Rising Star Roofing, LLC

We recently had rising Star do our roof on our home, the roof was done well and looks good. Our experience with dealing with these people was all bad!!! The communication was horrible. They did nothing to respect our home, they ruined our brand new deck, from our main entrance to get in and out of our house, by not putting anything down on it to protect it, and literally just through down all the old roofing with nails and screws that covered the whole deck and stairs. That ruined the brand new paint that was on the deck and stairs, which is our pathway to our cars. They did finally repair it after many months of not showing up, or having conversation with us. They didn't clean up after leaving the job on the days they worked, we were getting nails through our shoes, walking from our deck to our cars. They put a commercial sized dumpster in our driveway, along side our pods(as we had just moved in to our home) they were coming to our home after their working hrs on days they were not working on our house, and dumping other garbage in the dumpster, and left it there for almost a month after they completed the job, ignoring our calls to get it out of there. It was winter we had snow removal people having to clean up around the huge dumpster, it was very difficult with our 2 cars and 2 pods to park and use our driveway, and they took their time finally getting it out of there. One of their workers fell through the roof in our great room, which again they did have it repaired, by another company, a gentleman Don and his brother who were nothing but professional and did a fantastic job!! Chris, the owner of Rising Star continued to put issues on his job leader Tom, who blew us off with one excuse after another. It is my opinion and experience as a business owner myself, to make a client who, may need an issue resolved, after paying for their service to make them my first priority. Tom and Chris constantly put us off, to clean up their mess, to finish the job we paid for, when it was convient them. Their poor communication and horrible work ethics did not make up for the roof work done@ top dollar, paid in full and on time. Not only would l not recommend them, but l am having no problem with sharing this information with people l know and my clients.
