jane karp review about company A-1 General Contracting, LLC

We have waited 14 days now to even get any answer, after waiting weeks for our roofing job to begin. Ed didn't show up twice for appointments, without even apologizing. He is never on time and not serious. It looks like he will break the contract. Work should start by June 28th, in a week, yet the guy does not respond to any of my emails. The 888 number and local number just get you an answering machine. Ed also recommended to me his subcontractor Jeff Schnettler, a known crook, who ran off with our check for a building permit that he never got, but lied about. Most of the reviews here are totally fake; no one writes like that in reality "Ed is a fantastic guy..... bla bla bla". BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!
