K F review about company Strait Line Roofing, Siding and Construction

In response to Mr. Keith Schmidt's negative review I would first like to point out that his parents, namely Teri, were VERY indecisive from the first phone call. That led to many delays. It took a day and a half to frame and roof (10'x12'). The siding, soffit, and fascia was an additional 3 days. A deck was previously built and completed before Christmas. I am unsure as to where Keith is getting his time frame. We were very patient with the several requests for pricing and "plan" changes. We were not provided architectural plans/drawings and did a very professional job in framing. What Keith is pointing out that was not included in the contract is correct, and was done so as result of the customers request. Strait Line submitted an outlined proposal and it was agreed to and signed. The door was installed properly and then Mr. Schmidt decided to place shims and "adjust" it. That's why it wasn't working properly. Per contract the customer had advised they were purchasing an Anderson door, which they did not. Also, since the "review" is not from the customer I would not warrant it much credibility. Strait Line has done work for the Schmidt's in the past (new roof installation) and are therefore repeat customers. Keith was not present during the job process and it would have been appreciated if he contacted us directly instead of taking to the web with an invalid negative review. Furthermore, both Mr. & Mrs. Schmidt were taken around the job site upon completion and did not have any complaints.NOTE: My five star rating is due to the fact that Strait Line Roofing has several positive reviews Facebook.
