John Wade was recommended by several friends who had received roofing and gutter work from him since the late 80's. He provided a competitive estimate and a personal detailed assessment. The crew arrived early. Supplies were delivered on time and the crew split into tear off, clean up and resurfacing teams then went straight to work. I found no more than 5 - 6 nails when the crew finished which was an unbelievably small amount for this type of job. They had laid tarps around the complete tear off area so most of the waste was collected as they worked and the clean up man stayed always on the go, cleaning up strays. Despite the speed of work, underlayment, valley flashing, water and ice guard, all went on neat and professionally aligned. Point here is that they concentrated on the details where it counts, not just where it shows. I know that what is under the shingles was done in a way that will preserve this investment. I see the work done as excellent value and the price was appropriate. Not only will I recommend this roofing company, but I will recommend John Wade to people I care about and will call him again after the next inevitable hail storm that requires roof repairs.
