First Response Roofing and Construction I just had my roof replaced by First Response Roofing and Construction. It was a complete tear-off of two layers and I have to say this was by far the best experience I have had with a contractor in my 45-plus years of home ownership. From the initial encounter with the sales person, Mario, to the follow-up, First Response Roofing did everything they said they would do and then some. Because of existing landscaping and the placement of my log home, the shingles had to be hand carried from the drop point to the roof. Likewise, the dumpster for clean-up was also placed a good distance from the work zone. I mention this because in a more normal installation, the boom truck pulls up close to the house and uses a conveyor to deposit the bundles onto the roof. So in my case, the crew had a lot of extra work because they had to hand carry the 80-lb bundles from the drop zone up the ladders and onto the roof. In spite of the extra work and throughout the entire process, the crew was polite and respectful of our property. That was very important to my wife and I. They took the time to answer any questions and made sure to relay any requests we had to the rest of the crew. They started when they said and finished when they said, staying late on the last day to make sure the area was cleaned to our satisfaction. In short, I would absolutely recommend First Response Roofing and Construction for your new roof or for many other construction projects around your property including pole barns, garages, work sheds, etc. Sincerely, R.
