Art H. review about company A & G Carting

I called Tony from A&G roofing back in early May 2017, he came up and gave me a estimate which was a decent price, spelling out what he would do, brought Timberline Pro shingle samples. Wife made the selection, I asked about furnace chimney replacement and he quoted me, whatever it cost him is what I would pay - not a problem. Came a couple of days early with his crew, I specifically asked him not to nail any flashing on our 3 skylights as the previous roofer had done 21 years before which created roof leaks onto ceilings in 2 rooms, he assured me that no roofer would ever nail any flashing. Well, this was not the case, Tony's crew nailed every flashing with 6 shake nails, 1 5/16 inches in length. First problem was a dented chimney that was installed, which he replaced under protest. Now, along comes the big 2 day nor'easter rainfall the last weekend in October 2017, and I have ceiling stains where the rain came down the nails and onto the ceiling. I called Tony, left a message which was never returned, then I sent him a text message and get a response. He again stated that he would never nail flashing, and to send him pictures, and if there were nails he would fix it immediately. I did send him the pictures showing the nails in the flashing via a text message, never got a response so either he doesn't want to fix the problem or has passed. I fixed the window in the front of the house by purchasing flashing and slipping it under the shingles after pulling out the 6 nails, and tarring the holes. Just want to tell you, deal with A & G roofing at your own risk, the person doesn't stand behind their work and I have all the txt messages / photos to back me up. I posted 3 pictures, one of the ceiling stain and 2 showing shake nails nailed through the copper flashing. BAD, BAD, BAD and I don't get mad, I just post a honest review on shoddy work and a individual you probably want to avoid for a roofing job.
