Candace Baird review about company Paramount Builders Inc

I would give this company less than one star if I could. I set this appointment letting them know that being a military family my husband may not be available to consult on the project but I was fully capable of making the decisions needed on my own. When their sales reps arrived they asked where my husband was and when I explained he wasn't available they just continued to make small talk with me for a while. I tried several times to direct the conversation towards starting the consultation but they seem to be avoiding it. Finally I asked them outright if we could get started and they said that they could not do the consultation without my husband present. I explained he had been working extremely late nights and had only had a few hours sleep, so was sleeping and that we could move forward as I was going to be the decision maker. They first tried to say that since he'll need to sign the final paperwork he probably wants to know what kind decisions I'll be making about the windows, but I was very firm that he agreed that I would be making the decisions. Then they even said that there are a lot of decisions to be made about the windows and I probably would like some help with that from my husband. At that point I stated clearly that if they could not move forward with the consultation, then they needed to leave my home because they were wasting my time. I called the company to let them know how poor my experience was with their sales reps, and while the manager I spoke with was sympathetic, she had to stand by their company policy that they will not even meet for a consultation unless both spouses or homeowners are present. I told them that I find it ridiculous that I have purchased 2 cars and even refinanced our home in my husband's absence but according to them I'm not capable of choosing windows without my husband by my side. I don't know how they stay in business operating in this manner especially in a military town, but they will definitely never get my business.
