Had my roof replaced by masters last year and have had them out 5 times to make repairs. Every time I ask to speak to someone other than the tech they send out i get nothing! When I am told I will receive a call I need to call back a few days later to remind them or I get nothing. Was told by the salesman that my decking seemed fine and that my 3/8” decking would be fine if new 1/2” decking needed to be put on in some places. Well turns out I was then told the day of install that no all the decking needs to be replaced! Verified with the salesman that the techs who come out to install my roof were indeed employees of Masters and not a third party contractor because I had heard about companies doing that, he assured me I would see a masters truck. I saw a masters truck but it was the site foreman who visits multiple sites a day! What I got was 3-4 people in a blank white work van with no signs on it and workers with no masters uniforms or anything indicating they worked for masters!!!! So almost $13,000 later I had a what I thought was new roof. I would have been fine with the added cost for the decking if the roof was good for a few months at a time!!!! I’ve had multiple repairs to my roof and I have not been able to get any answers as to why my roof which is just a year old has had so many issues the tech even told me that where he made the repair the shingles should have had multiple nails per shingle but were held down with 2 nails!!!! I have no trust in my roof and if I can’t get through to someone I will definitely hire a lawyer who can! $13,000 for a roof that I don’t know was installed correctly!
