Rico Romero ('owner') already has other claims against him from home owners. Get a copy of the cancelled check from your insurance company. If you have a lien holder (mortgage company) that was required to endorse the check along with you, Wells Fargo (the bank this 'business' used) unlawfully deposited the money without proper endorsement.
