David Lawrence review about company Commonwealth Roofing & Siding

I called Commonweath Roofing because I’d been contacted by a number of roofing companies regarding hail damage to my roof and siding, but I was skeptical because there had not been a significant hail storm in our neighborhood. One company had already signed up several of our neighbors and had called to tell me that there was hail damage on our siding, however, so I was also concerned that I might be missing something. When Commonwealth’s “No BS” flyer arrived in the mail, their exposure of other companies’ dirty tricks and promise to be honest with us was just what I was looking for so I called, and Mike Bennett showed up exactly on the promised date and time. From the outset, I greatly enjoyed dealing with Mike. He was open and friendly, and proud of the fact that roofing is the only work he has ever done. He was also proud of the fact that Commonwealth is a local company that has been in the roofing business for decades. His free inspection of our home’s roof and siding was thorough and detailed. He took lots of pictures as he did it, and was happy to show those pictures to me. Bottom line, there was no hail damage on our roof or siding. Our aluminum siding is in great shape, and likely will not need replacement for many years, if ever. Our roof, already almost 25 years old, is also in great shape. Mike estimated that it would last for another 7-10 years – barring any hail storms! The fact that Mike was more interested in being honest with me than in trying to sell me a new $11,000 roof and/or $20,000 siding job (his estimates of the current prices to do those on our house) was very telling. Here is a company that values its reputation above the bottom line, and that’s exactly the sort of company I want to do business with.
