Curtis Wright review about company A-1 Roofing & Construction

Quality craftsmen but require supervision to prevent short cutting. I contracted A-1 to install a torched down roof on my house. The materials are expensive, but are built to last. A-1 was the lowest bid, but missed their measurements for materials. They did not report the issue and left ~2 squares of my roof un-replaced. When confronted they were very argumentative and difficult to work with. I agreed to pay extra to come back and finish the job, but again they ran short of materials and didn’t finish two small sections. I will be replacing the remaining ~50SF of roof myself. The issue was most likely due to a miscommunication of scope. The incremental cost of additional work is not an issue, however the way A-1 handled the confrontation was very unprofessional.
