I am gracefully approaching the young age of 70. In all my years, I have had no faith in the term "Warranty". In my opinion, Warranty should actually be "Warranty-good luck with that". Recently I had a pleasant experience with a warranty. Eighteen and a half years ago, I signed a contract with SAS Services to waterproof my basement. When they finished waterproofing the basement SAS gave me a lifetime warranty. I started to get some seepage in my basement, so I called SAS and the same day an associate came out to my home. The following day, another SAS representative came out to my house and said "We have a problem". I was told to call the office the next day and set up an appointment. I called and set up an appointment at my convenience . On the scheduled day, SAS arrived, walked me through what they were going to do and their expectations then all of a sudden, like out of a starting gate, five gentlemen started moving in all directions, each individual performing a task, all in unison with coordination. Three hours later SAS removed and replaced my basement waterproofing. When they were leaving, cleaning as they went along, they did a walk through of the complete job and explained in detail what was changed and how the system works. My wife and I were very pleased with the clean up and the control of the dust that was to be expected but they had it under control. All this done under the SAS "Lifetime Warranty".
