Bryon Kauffman review about company Novak Home Improvements

Let me start by saying that this is the first time I've ever reviewed a company online. I am very easy to work with and takes a ton to get me frustrated to the point that I am with this company. I hired Novak to repair my house after hail damage when one of their representatives came to our door after the big hail storm in the Reading area in 2014. At first they were very good and started strong; however, as the project continued and after they had most of their money it has become evident that they no longer give a crap about their customers and finishing the job. At least 3 times now I have taken off of work to meet a Novak guy at my house first thing in the morning only to have them show up at least an hour late...which seemed like no big deal to them with the answer each time being "I was in traffic". Everyone knows that there is traffic from Bethlehem to Reading in the morning...maybe you should leave a little earlier. On multiple occasions they came without everything they needed to finish the job and it is obvious that the communication it terrible from one guy who comes out to the next. When you email them at their general company email address...if the girl who normally receives those emails is out on vacation or not available for any reason...those emails just sit there and are ignored....they don't get forwarded to anyone else and no one checks them. While they did my siding...they absolutely butchered a tree by breaking off branches (not cutting...just breaking) without checking with us. I could go on but that is enough. So if you are looking for a company who will start off fast... I guess they are fine but if you want a company who will do what they say at the end, finish up the job and actually give a crap about their customers time...do yourself a favor and look for another company.
