I'll start this review by stating that I have over 12 years of solar and roofing experience and have sold and/or overseen thousands of projects. So to say that I'm selective about contractors would be an understatement. After receiving several roofing bids from highly qualified contractors who were referred to me, I chose Luke for a number of reasons. First, their pricing was perfectly in line with my expectations of the work to be done (remove & reinstall solar panels, strip roof, perform any wood repairs, install two layers of synthetic underlayment (one low E), install new concrete tiles, and a new skylight). Second, I had observed their performance on my neighbor's home and was impressed. Third, they are local to me in the event I need service in the future. Once the project commenced, every element of it was professionally executed by highly competent crews (one demo, one roof, and one solar), communication was solid throughout, and there were no hassles with permitting or inspections (everything passed first time). We even experienced a freak rainstorm during the project while the tiles were stacked (after completion of underlayment), and there wasn't a leak to to found anywhere. The true test of a waterproof roof is the installation of the underlayment, and ours passed with flying colors! I highly recommend Luke if you need a new roof or are looking into solar for your home. For me, they completed both projects on time, on budget, and did a quality job.
