Brittany Camp review about company Parker Roofing Co

I had a roof leak. When called, they said they could not be at my house until the next morning. Well, we continued to have thunderstorms through out the night, causing more damage. The next morning, the owner arrived. I showed him our leak in a small half bath. He automatically assumed it was due to a ventilation pipe. He said it was either broken or cracked. I did not think he was right. I insisted for him to see the leak in the attic, even though he was reluctant. He realized then, he was wrong. He got on a ladder and put a black tar looking sealant on my roof. The only reason I know this is because an hour after he left, claiming it was fixed, it started raining and slopped onto my concrete driveway, leaving me to clean it up. The leak ended up being way worse, causing what would have been a patch job in my sheetrock to hiring someone to completely redo my sheetrock. I called to let him know, it was still leaking and worse than before. He said he couldn't be there until the next morning. Keep in mind it is still raining during this time... I ended up calling another company that day to get a second opinion. They actually fixed this issue a day later by adding flashing and redoing a few shingles Mr. Parker messed up with the black tarry sealant. When called for a refund, he refused to give a full refund and only gave half of my money back. He claimed he came by the day after the initial "repair" to readdress the issue, but neither my husband nor I ever received a phone call after trying all morning to get in contact with him. I'm very disappointed with their work, work ethic, and principles. I'm quite sure if it was his home, he would have actually fixed the issue instead of looking for an easy, temporary, cheap fix. They caused more damage and still kept part of my money. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
