Michael Pickford review about company MK Construction Specialists

I found MKCS on a Google search and they had great reviews so I emailed them through their website. I also emailed other companies that do similar work and MKCS replied to set up a free visit/estimate quickly. They were also the only contractor that responded out of 4 that I contacted. My rep was a gentleman named Kendall and he showed up on time, during the weekday, and during lunch time which was nice. He gave me an estimate on the work I requested (siding repair and gutter replacement) and also talked to me about my roof. The roof is old but I never felt like he pressured me to replace it, just gave me the facts, and a couple quotes to replace it because I asked for it. I ended up only doing the siding and gutters like I planned but will use them in the future once we do replace the roof. The quote and order process was simple and easy. The work was delayed but only due to weather and Kendall kept me updated on the schedule . When the work did start it was done well and quickly. There was only one hiccup due to a last minute change in the contract (we added gutter screens) and they we're out to fix just two days later. I hope they don't mind me saying that they actually did some additional work to the siding and on my exterior chimney trim which had some water damage. There was some leftover material from the work they quoted so they, at no additional charge, made my house look better than what we were hoping for. That material could have gone to waste, but they used it and absorbed the labor cost. What more can you ask for?
