Elaine H review about company Shadel Roofing & Siding

Based on the recommendation from a relative, I called to schedule an appointment for an estimate. I explained that I wanted to replace the roof because my homeowner’s insurance requested it. The man who I spoke to was very rude and unprofessional and stated, “I’m not interested”!!! Couldn’t even get him to come out an do a free estimate like is advertised on the website. I will be sure to let others know about the negative experience I have had with this company! 7/4/18 response No, I’m not removing this review at all. I clearly stated I needed an estimate because my homeowner’s insurance was requesting it. I never mentioned that I didn’t need you to do the work. When I have a major project that needs done I get multiple estimates. I consider professionalism, price, and adequate communication when selecting a contractor to do a job. You asked how soon I needed the work done and in no way did I state it was an emergency situation. Yes, someone “recommended” me to this company but it doesn’t mean I will be satisfied with you because clearly I was not in the least bit impressed with the interaction. I was sure to let them know not to refer other prospective clients to this business. I have since acquired some free estimates from professional competitors in the area and will have the roof replaced within 2 months.
