Sarah Spikeston review about company Wagner Roofing Co

Brian Wagner was initially really responsive. Came out, examined our emergency roof issue, said he could handle the framing issue in addition to the roofing issue (saving us time getting another company out there), and gave us an official bid on our project. Time sensitive issue as damage was impacting the rest of the house. Delays meant potentially $10,000 in damages. He said no problem, he could handle it. Said he would start quickly on Friday (so we stopped looking for other contractors). He was fairly acting texting us back to communicate. Friday came and went, no response. He ghosted us. Couldn't get a hold of him, wouldn't return calls. My husband, my mother in law, and myself all called the office several times over the course of three weeks trying to get someone, ANYONE from the company to come out and complete the job. The front desk lady sounded bewildered and said she couldn't get a hold of Brian. She said she would contact the owner (James Wagner) of the company. The owner, a relative of Brian supposedly, never returned our call or our Facebook message. Wagner Roofing is trash and extremely unreliable. The owner, as well as Brian Wagner, lack character and ethics. The company/owner won't even own up for their employee/family member and make the situation right. A returned call from either the owner (James Wagner) or Brian Wagner with an apology and a cancellation of the bid/job was never made. Poor form, awful company. Avoid at all costs.
