Erin Snyder review about company Becker’s Roofing | Siding and Chimney Contractors

I have had one of my doors leak pretty significantly every time it rains, and there has been a lo of rain this season so I was pretty stressed and eager to get this issue resolved. I, and several other opinions, agreed it likely had to do with the flashing so I researched some reputable companies and chose Beckers. I'm not sure how the ball was dropped on this project but I definitely don't relate to all the 5/5 star reviews with this company. It started out great with a nice gentlemen who came out to survey what I needed done, reassured me not to worry, and I got the quote quickly. I called and got it scheduled but they were scheduling nearly a month out. So I had another month of rain coming in my house. When they could finally come, I was out of town but they again reassured me they could take care of it and would address the needs. I asked several times if the flashing would be taken out where the deck meets the house and was told yes. I spoke to gentlemen who did the work via phone who said he didn't think it was the flashing but that it was the j-channel from the roof above so he fixed that instead? After paying almost 500$ and after waiting over a month for the job to be done, it is still leaking with rain. I called the company back and said I wanted someone to come back out, which they did, and I was told I would get another quote to take the door out and replace the flashing (which is what I had asked to be done initially) but 2 weeks later I am still waiting for this quote. I'm not sure if this was a small project and the company was just uninterested in it from the start but I had told them several times how stressed I was about getting water in my house for months now and would have appreciated them at least telling me they didn't want the job instead of wasting my time AND my money. I went with another company who took the door out, noted how bad the flashing was installed, re did the flashing, and resealed the door for a great price within a week of me contacting them. So I will not be using Beckers again and would not recommend to anyone.
