Danny Dill review about company MW Construction

The owner (Mike Wampler) came to me on a job (I was using him as a sub) and lied about losing a homeowners $ they’d paid down. He said he didn’t have the funds to complete the job, and was afraid she was going to have him arrested. I fronted him material to prepay him for work to be completed soon after. He was 1/4 through replacing 1 of 2 roofs when I had to fire him. He attempted to make payment arrangements at first (nowhere close to being enough) then disappeared. I ended up winning a judgement in court, then says he’ll set payments with the court. He then disappears again. Calls, texts, all messages go unanswered. He is advertising “Licensed Bonded and Insured”, yet has none of these. Contractors like this is what gives us LEGIT contractors a bad name.
