Some elderly friends of mine had tried for MONTHS to get someone to repair a small roof leak and some minor water damage in their ceiling, hopefully before a small problem became a major one. Several local contractors told them "I'll be there tomorrow" or "I'll call you in a day or two". This went by for several months, without their ever even having received a courtesy call from the contractor to cancel or explain why they didn't show up at the appointed time. They were frustrated and disappointed. I went online to do a search for local handyman services, and came across a couple of promising candidates, one of whom was Rudd's. Rudd's was the first to return my call. I explained the situation andI gave them my friends' phone number and information. They called my friends immediately, set up a time for an estimate the next day, and returned a couple of days later to complete the job. The homeowners were VERY pleased with the job. The male homeowner worked all his life in construction / carpentry, but is unable to do so now due to his advanced years and poor health. He checked the repair, and said the workmen did an excellent job. The workers did an excellent quality repair at a reasonable price, plus they were prompt, courteous, cleaned up the job site well, and left no debris or mess inside the home.
