Like most people embarking on a home improvement or remodel project, we had done extensive research online about what we wanted from our new kitchen; looks, function, and an enduring design. There are so many talented people out there that do kitchen remodeling, choosing one firm to turn your dream into reality can be overwhelming. After researching the Better Business Bureau, Angie’s List and Houzz; we knew we could narrow the field considerably. Having been a Realtor and sold luxury real estate in Seattle, Palm Springs and San Diego, I knew the value in hiring a talented construction firm before making a single purchase. I have seen too many horrible remodels, or ones that came close but miss the mark. I got a couple of quotes from Rich. Both times he showed up on time and the quotes came back very similar in price to others. I did not end up hiring anyone for the service as our house hit the market quicker than expected, but I would recommend Northrup based on the service I received during the quoting process.

Over the years, we've used Northrup Roofing & Remodeling for a number of small projects and have always been satisfied by the quality of the work. After receiving a number of bids, we chose Northrup for, what we thought, would be a relatively modest project to fix water damage to our front porch and deck. As it turned out, the entire structure had rotted out as a result of improper construction in the original installation (which was not done by Northrup). As a result, the entire structure needed to be demolished and completely replaced. Mark White and his team, which included an architect, structural engineer, and numerous sub-contractors, were all responsive to our concerns and offered excellent advice. They were always respectful of budgetary constraints and delivered a suburb project in a timely fashion.
