They get 2 stars because the work they did complete seems to be ok. In 2017, we hired TAG to repair our roof. At the time they were disorganized, late to appointments, workers took extremely long breaks instead of getting the work done, and the project wasn't completed on time. Two years later, we notice staining on our ceiling in the same area TAG supposedly fixed. We made an appointment to have it check. Karl was late to the appointment again today. When he finally arrived, he checked the roof and claimed they never contracted to repair that area. So something that I believe was fixed, because that's what they were contracted to do, has been leaking for two years. I could pull the paperwork that proved they did the work, along with the photos, but I don't trust TAG to properly fix the problem so I will be finding another roofing company.

Shady, shady, shady. This company is NOT a licensed roofing contractor. They are NOT a licensed solar installer. Yet they advertise and operate as if they have the legitimate licenses. Check the California State Contractor's License board webpage to verify that. They will damage your home, lie to your face and should be put out of business. Owner Karl should be put in jail.

They were not very organized apparently . Late for estimate appt with no phone call, After signed contract did not reply to emails, or phone calls about getting a schedule. Finally got a schedule date after 6 weeks. , and they did not show up. Had to call them to find out why. They then resceduled twice in next couple of hours. Finally cancelled work. Tired of chasing them . Will find another roofer.

I hired Tag roofing to do our commercial roof. Karl made sure I knew exactly what was involved and all that I was getting with the job. Jesus, the project manager was great to work with. Very communicative and professional. The entire team did a wonderful job and I have nothing but great things to say about the company! Fair price too!

TAG Roofing sets the bar. The first problem I had was a leaking chimney. My second issue involved an attic space that was not properly vented so during the summer the house would start to bake in the late afternoon. I had three roofing companies out to bid the job. Sure enough the bids and suggested fixes were all over the place. Then came Karl with TAG roofing….he explained everything with great detail and gave several options that were within my budget. The chimney is fixed and the attic space is significantly cooler. Karl was prompt with the bids and followed up with me when the job was finished. I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends and family.
