Did great work at a reasonable price. Highly recommended

We hired Atlas (Clancy Malone) to do a replacement roof, and add a deck to the back and a full-length front porch on the front. At the time, we didn't realize that our architect and the engineer that worked with the architect were both incompetent, which complicated things immensely and also contributed to substantial delays; nonetheless, Clancy and his team cheerfully worked with us and dealt with the problems, and they even changed stuff on the fly to make sure it was what we wanted. The ultimate result was that we ended up with a new roof, new deck, and a new porch -- and the porch especially was far better than we had envisioned -- for a price far below what several other companies had quoted. We have gotten dozens of compliments from neighbors and passers-by at how nice the porch looks. We would definitely recommend Clancy; he cares about his customers, he is low-key and hassle-free, and he is honest. The negatives: The workmanship was spotty at times (good work crews are hard to find) but we did punch lists and they corrected everything to our satisfaction. Also, the work crews didn't understand the concept of lawns and kept tearing up our lawn when they parked their trucks on it. They worked so hard, though, we didn't say anything and the lawn was easy to fix. Bottom line: If you have a million-dollar house and want perfection (and are willing to pay a premium for it), Atlas isn't for you, but if you want nice, solid, good-quality work at a reasonable price, then you'll be happy.

One story tear off and replace roofing on house and garage. Covered gable ends of garage with vinyl, remove and replace gutters & downspouts on garage only. I got four quotes for the above job. Atlas was the best in every way. Their price was very competitive for the work to be performed and Clancy was great to deal with. They did not ask for any "upfront" cash. The job was started within 10 days of contracting and completed in two days. Each crew, roofing, siding and gutter did a fantastic job. As a retired construction contractor, I highly recommend Atlas.
