Had a leak in my roof, called City Wide roofing and they were really quick with everything. They gave me an estimate for the roof after what I thought was them inspecting it. Once I contracted them, they came out the following day. I told the roofers where the issue was and asked them if they needed to see it from the inside to make sure that it was taken care of and they said no. The leak persisted even after they 'fixed the roof' and after they came out a 2nd time to check on it they said that the issue was the siding and that they could do it for $2500. I went with them because I did not know what the cause of the leak was and I thought that they would be able to find it an fix it, if they would have thoroughly checked it from the beginning I would have had the siding fixed, instead of the roof. Now I lost almost $4000, still have a leak, and have a room that I cannot use.

We purchased a home with a roof done by Citywide. The main roof, porch roof, and garage roof all had leaks. Citywide would not honor the warranty from the previous owner. They were also extremely unpleasant to deal with. I have heard several other horror stories from Philadelphia homeowners about this company.

This has to be the Absolutel WORST company in the city of Philadelphia..First off, I had to wait a couple of weeks just to have someone come out to give a estimate ( Thank God my roof wasn't pouring) They kept saying we will be there tomorrow etc, and then someone finally came out, and gave a hand written estimate on how much it would cost, so I decided to go with them and attempted to set up a day to start the work for what was written down for $450 ( A small roof) so I was told we'll get to you this week, then was given a day that work would finally be done, called the day before to confirm, and then was told the price is now $750 and when I told him I had a written estimate for $450 he said you give us $750 or we're not coming out....Please do not bother, they are crooked as hell..It most definitely has to be the worst in philly... Simply can't be trusted.

City Wide Roofing is a great company, very fast and responsive. The guys who came to install were very professional, have been with the company for years, very down to earth and did an excellent job, they cleaned afterwards and the roof looked great. I highly recommend them, reasonably priced, fast and professional service!

What's with the evil speed bumps with no warning paint? Not your fault, it just sucks.
