Mason and his team carried out a well planned, efficient, and clean job installing gutters on our new-to-us home. When a concern arose about downspout placement, I was consulted and it was resolved. They were very responsive to drainage issues that came up and they were willing to help us work through our problems. We highly recommend Mason and his team.

Kidd Roofing has got to be the worst roofing company in San Antonio! Their completed work is MEDIOCRE at best. Ashton Woods @ Fair Oaks uses this company as their roofing subcontractor of choice. We've only been in our house for two months and have had two serious roof leaks. The first time, Kidd roofing came out, the roofer said something merely needed to be caulked around a vent. After the second roof leak, Kidd Roofing sent out their "Quality" Assurance Supervisor to go up... He managed to damage the vent, damage the gutter, and said the same thing... "just a little caulk was needed around the vent." Needless to say, we kept hearing rain and were very concerned that there may be a bigger (installation) problem - so we hired an engineering expert to inspect it. Below are the comments from the engineer's official inspection report: -Overall, A very unprofessional installation -Shingles were installed incorrectly -Roofing debris left on the roof -Half lodged nails (exposed through the shingle) - ultimately permits rain -Eaves have gaps - leaving opportunity where water will invariable enter -Flashing sections were not flush (creating an opening for wind rain --- and animals). -Kick-out flashing not sealed (at all) -Installed gutters that discharge "on the roof" -Improperly installed drip-edge flashing (not overlapping correctly) -Shingles installed incorrectly at the roof edge -Many shingles are not flush with the roof -Multiple bruised and perforated shingles -Deflection in the roof surface/structure The engineer's overall recommendation regarding the long list of repairs that are now needed --- Use a "competent" roofer. Note - This company was hired by our new home builder (Ashton Woods at Fair Oaks Ranch); not us. If you're considering a new roof, do yourself a favor and hire an inspector (with "roofing" experience) who will actually walk your roof and let you know just how well the install was handled. Engage a roofer who is willing to correct - based on the inspectors' report.

We had a cracked tile on our concrete roof, and I was not comfortable getting up there to repair it. We called Kidd based on other Google reviews, and Jeremy came out and took care of it for us. And guess what? No charge. That's right. He just did it out of the kindness of his heart. You sure don't see that much these days. When we get ready to replace our roof, our first and only call will be to Kidd Roofing. Thanks!

We used Kidd Roofing to repair our leaking roof and they discovered we also had rotted wood fascia behind our gutters due to improperly installed gutters. So they also removed our existing gutters and repaired all of the wood that was rotted for us. They did an outstanding job including several inspections by the Kidd team leaders (Steven Jasik) to ensure everything was done right. We are now big fans of Kidd Roofing. They're very professional, honest, and easy to work with.

Kidd Roofing San Antonio (Jeremy) responded quickly to our request for an assessment/quote, was friendly and candid, gave helpful advice on dealing with inspectors and insurance, did great work, charged a fair price, and provided excellent documentation we requested. Most impressive was that out of the nearly dozen roofers I contacted, Kidd was the only one who didn't try to twist our arm into a full roof replacement or stop responding when they realized we just needed minor repairs.
