Worst contractor I've ever dealt with. I gave them one star because negative five is not an option.. they came back several times to fix things (only after I called the city for a reinspection) and it is still wrong. Find a good company with own crews, not storm chasing trash! Quantity is job one but QUALITY is none!!a

Update: Starting last Fall, I've had rain leaking from both dormer windows into my attic. It appears to be leaking from where the shingles meet the dormer structure on the roof. Mastercraft replaced our roof in 2013. Service at the time was very good and the job appeared to be complete with good workmanship. However, in cleaning gutters last summer I noticed that they stopped installing the gutter apron along a 4 foot section on the 2nd floor where the electrical line came into the house -- just below the gutter. I called Mastercraft to point out the incomplete job. They sent someone out to assess my complaint and they confirmed the job was incomplete. I called back multiple times to see if they were going to come back and complete the job. On two separate occasions, about two months apart, they said someone would be coming out the following week – and no one ever showed up. In all, I made at least 5 calls to Mastercraft over the span of 3+ months, and in the end, this minimal remaining step was never completed by them. Instead, I recently hired a handyman to complete the job that Mastercraft that didn’t finish. And this comes after we wrote a letter of recommendation, at Mastercraft’s request, soon after the roof was replaced.

They talked us into getting gutter guards, which we should never have done. No matter how much we cleaned them off, they would always get clogged and then not be able to handle the heavy rain we have been getting. As a result. We experienced water damage. When I reported the issue, they said that they no longer served our area and couldn’t be of any help. We ripped those things out ourselves. What a waste of money!

We are grateful for finding a roofing company that was able to help us navigate the insurance process when our home was damaged by a storm. We had hail damage that required we redo our whole roof, siding, gutters and more. Thankfully Mastercraft was able to get our house and our investment into better shape than when we first bought the house! We were able to update the color of our siding as well as improving the look and durability of our home and roof as well! When we had some "post repair" failures in some of the nasty storms that followed Mastercraft came out and repaired those as well for no extra charge!
