When looking around for a new roof a few friends had suggested Firon. At first the cost put us off but when we looked at the warranty and their industry certifications we were sold. The professionalism of the team during installation in the fall of 2017 was fantastic and we could not be more pleased with the roof. Even better than the sales and installation has been the post installation support. We are very pleased to have chosen them and so grateful for their commitment to customer service.

They were at our condo complex recently doing work on multiple units, and I can't think of anything good to say other than they were in and out fast. The condo complex consists of about 100 homes give or take, a lot of which are families with young children or pets. Between the loud music full of profanity blaring from the rooftops while they worked, the trash from lunches and work materials left behind, the piles of shingles and tar and emptied out ashtrays left on people's lawns and walkways, and the absolutely mind boggling amount of discarded roofing nails left laying around for anyone's child or dog to step on or for people to drive over, I can't honestly say that I would ever use or recommend this company. I've been surrounded by contractors and construction workers my whole life, and I always thought part of the deal was cleaning up your mess (especially the hazardous variety) before you leave a job site. It's been about a week since they left, and I've already pulled 3 nails out of my own shoes and 2 from my dogs feet, and I'm sure there will be more to come. Perhaps the residents should all get together and send Firon the bills for all the shoes, tires, and veterinary care that they're ultimately responsible for?

Firon Roofing did the roofs (or parts of) in our town house development this week. While I cant speak for the price (it was covered by the condo board)or the quality of work (havemt been on the roof to see it) what I can say is it was an awful experience dealing with the workers. They blocked the entrance to our community, parked a bin blocking 2 driveways and left it overnight. The workers had told me it would be removed the same day, it wasnt. The next day the workers told me it would be picked up in about 30 minutes, it wasnt. After calling their office the lady got it taken care of while being quite nice and helpful. After the bin was removed I found 2 coils of nails for their nail guns in the snow on my lawn. Multiple loose nails on my driveway where the bin was, nails and shingles covering my balcony, back yard, and barbecue. The following day they were doing the homes on the opposite side of the street, they were smoking on the roof and it most certainly smelled of marijuana. It took them less than 9 hours to do roofs (or partial) on 4 town houses, and the same the next day with 4 more while another company, Roof Master has been doing another row of 4 homes in the community going on 5 days now. I'm not sure if I prefer quickness or quality but the other houses certainly seem to have less of a mess to clean up. Do your homework about who is going to be working on your property. The guys who work for Firon seem to be kids who want the job done quick and dont care about the human aspect or safety.
