We used them for our deck roof and then again when we replaced our house roof. They did a fantastic job on both occasions. They worked hard and fast, and were always friendly, polite, and professional. Their work is excellent and we highly recommend them.

I have hired "Fix My Roof" on multiple occasions for various roofing, siding, squirrel removal projects. They have always provided quality, reliable service, at a competitive price. Exceptional warranty service. They are on my speed-dial, and are the only company I call.

A Job Well Done! In August 2004, we had the roof to our 1989 home replaced. At that time, we had chosen the more expensive 25-year shingles, as it was an investment in our home. However, last May 2018 (after a serious windstorm) we discovered that several shingles had blown off the roof, and the portions that we had retrieved were in appalling condition. This prompted an inspection from the roofing company who had facilitated the replacement previously. Whereupon, we learned that the shingles (and roof in general) would not last more than a year at best. During that visit, we were provided with a quotation for a replacement that had been expected to last many more years; certainly, not less than 14 years! The prospect of replacing the roof again so soon was particularly troubling, especially since this unexpected expense would cause an additional financial burden on our household. Throughout this situation, we faced many challenges. After receiving little support from our insurance company, we reached out for assistance from the shingle manufacturer and were eventually provided with a pro-rated rebate to cover some of the costs for the new replacement shingles. Their rebate was somewhat disappointing, but we were grateful for any financial relief to aid us in our quest. Another challenge was in comparing prices and the quality of workmanship between the various roofing companies located in the Greater Hamilton Area. In spite of the fact that we had chosen the previous roofer because of their reputation, our experience with them (although a very well known company) had not been a positive one. For example, we were assured that the roof would be completed within a two-day period; however, the work began on a Thursday and extended over an entire long weekend. We were told that the company did not subcontract, but it was later determined that they did indeed contract out. We were told that any remnants of their installation would be cleaned up, but upon arrival home, we discovered pieces of garbage that had evidently been missed by the team. We were also assured that the quality of workmanship would be at a superior level; however, the work performed required several visits to repair damaged eavestroughs and incorrectly installed flashings. As a result, we were well beyond frustration and disappointment. After having endured such a terrible experience previously, choosing a suitable roofing company was of paramount importance to our household; that is where Fix My Roof enters the picture. Upon conducting in-depth research, we discovered that they are a family-owned business and do not sub-contract. Furthermore, because it was late in the roofing season and they were unable to fulfill our contract until the early spring of 2019, they came out and reinforced/sealed any exposed areas on our roof to minimize any further shingle damage over the winter, all at no additional cost. We were thrilled! Fix My Roof is one of the companies that has risen above the rest! Their pricing was comparable, but their service OUTSTANDING! They contacted us promptly in the spring to schedule a convenient time to begin the replacement. They were extremely patient and listened to all of our concerns, and as promised, completed the job in one day. Their team was efficient and respectful, conducting themselves very professionally. The clean-up surrounding our home was immaculate. Concerning the level of craftsmanship, I am a graphic designer and trained to strive for perfection, as are the installers at Fix My Roof! We want to thank Sean, Luke, Derek and the entire team for a job well done! Would I recommend Fix My Roof, YES, I certainly would! J. Pattison

We would recommend Fix My Roof! The quote was detailed so my neighbour and I (semi-detached) knew exactly what they would be doing, price was competitive, they did a great job, cleaned up afterwards, and the team was professional and easy to talk to. The job comes with a 10 year workmanship warranty in addition to the shingle warranty, and I have no doubt it will be honoured in the event of a problem. Double thumbs up for a job well done!

I had Fix My Roof provide a “roof repair” package, which was to fix the leaking I was having into my garage. I was given a quote which was approximately $600, tax included. They were very quick to follow up, and without inspecting to see where the water was coming in, told me with confidence that it had been repaired (about an hour’s work). I promptly paid the $600 that same day. Two weeks later, I had more water coming in in the same area. It was slightly more difficult to get someone in this time, but they came and applied another silicone patch in another area. This happened again 2 weeks later after some back and forth. I was told to follow up if I had any more issues. When my roof continued to leak in the same area after having more rain, I tried getting in touch with someone to help me out, to no avail. I’ve since been told by numerous roofers that I needed a new roof replacement, and no one should have attempted to do a patch repair from the beginnings. Numerous professionals assured me that even with further patching, it would still continue to leak. They wouldn’t take on the repair job. The guys at Fix My Roof should have identified this from the get go, or after the third time returning, had offered some kind of resolution. After calling and emailing numerous times, no one has responded over the course of many weeks. I’ve recently had to replace my entire roof, and it would have been nice to have been spared this $600 inconvenience, and the many weeks I was forced to delay my renovations.
