I had a similar recent experience with this business, also due to the May 4th windstorm. Charging $1000 for simply showing up is extortion to say the least. Beware and stay away from these guys. It is worth taking the time to find a contractor that does not exploit customers.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. May 4th windstorm resulted in a lot of shingles coming off our house. With rain forecasted, I needed a tarp job until our insurance company could send their contractor out. I used this business 5 years ago and they came quickly and did a tarp job for a reasonable price until our leaking skylight could be repaired. I would say that previous service deserved 4 stars. Well, it seems that with high demand comes extortion sized new fees. The business calls itself an EMERGENCY roof repair business right? Well, thanks to the windstorm and high demand, apparently it now means they are charging a $1000 emergency service fee just to show up with their truck. Does that make it an emergency emergency fee? So shocked and disgusted and needless to say found an alternative. Pure greed and taking advantage of people who are in need of help. Absolutely disgusting. Never using them again....

The wind ripped off many my shingles and damaged the roof vent pretty bad. Snow is on the way and so I called TRD for an emergency repair. I think given the huge number of calls I was told it was $350 just to come out. Reluctantly I agreed and was a little worried I would be ripped off. TRD came a few hours after I made the call and fixed the problem, the repair was $450 and saved my house from the 3 cm of snow they say is coming tonight. He does not have the greatest phone manner but he did a great job and fixed the problem within the price range I expected.
